The jLAN Mobile Server is the server side application that provides a centralized management console for the system administrator.

User and Group Administration
Centrally create and manage PDA users. Edit system permissions by individual user or groups. Set up security templates and allow new users to inherit the security settings. jLAN Server makes it just as easy to manage a 5 user system as a 5,000 user system.

Leverage Microsoft Dynamics setup.
jLAN’s Mobile server lets you control how and when sales documents, customer, inventory and account receivable information is bi-directionally managed between the mobile devices and Microsoft Dynamics. No need to recreate business processes that already exist in the back office system. The jLAN server lets you leverage those business rules out to the mobile device fleet.

Management Reporting
Centralized sales and synchronization reports keeps managers informed and up to date of your mobile workforce activities.

Protect your data
Protecting company data is a critical issue when considering a mobile sales systems. jLAN Mobile server has three levels of data protection methods. User name and password authentication, encrypted data on the device and the ability to remote “wipe –out” a mobile device (requires MS Exchange 2003)
